It's official: your gut health matters

Updated: 6 days ago

BIG NEWS! For the first time ever, the USDA 2025 Dietary Guidelines (released on January 7 2026) officially recognize the massive role your gut microbiome plays in overall health. They are encouraging foods that support this inner ecosystem.

But here’s the catch: pasteurization (high heat) kills those beneficial bacteria (in Kombucha, yoghurt, kimchi and all the fermented food and drinks.)

At Three Goats Brewery, we are proudly 100% Traditionally Fermented and Always Unpasteurized. We never pasteurize, ensuring the natural probiotics stay alive. Moreover, our Kombucha are not made from Kombucha concentrate. That is also why our kombucha need to be ship cold-chain, and always need to be kept refrigerated.

But we don't stop there. We go the extra mile for your gut. Beyond our traditional fermentation, we boost every bottle with an additional 500 Million CFU of Bacillus coagulans at the time of bottling. Bacillus coagulans is a naturally encapsulated (spore-forming) probiotic. This protective "shell" acts as a shield, ensuring the bacteria survives the harsh journey through stomach acid and reaches your digestive tract intact—supporting your health exactly where it matters most.

Drink the living, nutrient-dense refreshment the new guidelines are talking about.
